Maeve and Makenna seemed like they were having a blast! Maeve was covered in a very interesting sunscreen/sand concoction! She did not burn. I on the other hand, well, I didn't fare as well! I should have taken a picture of the totally random and unexplainable burn pattern on my legs! Basically, I think the sun and everyone within eyeshot, thought I should cover up my extremely white legs!! Instead I have this wicked splatter pattern! Oh well!
Madigan who was mostly miserable, had a nice stroller nap while Makenna, Maeve and I hit the water! We were having a blast and I saw some smallish waves rolling in from the BC Ferry. We were wading out pretty deepish when the waves hit... wammo.. huge wave.. small wave gone... big wave splash! Good thing I was holding the girls... ok ok, it wasn't that bad.. it just splashed me enoug to make it look like I had Madigan's trademark pee pee accident! Ahh the laughing! Here is Madigan after she woke from her brief nap! Less miserable at least!
And this is what a hard day of beach playing gets me. Ahh sleep! They are so less challenging when they are sleeping! Lets pray that they sleep all night tonight! Hey.. there is a first for everything!

Miss Maeve in the pink bikini in the water is SO BEAUTIFUL! She is so cute and adorable, she reminds me of a betty boop cartoon. Madigan sure has the stink eye down! Such intensity for someone so young...perhaps she will be a bit dramatic? It looks like so much at the beach....ah, I am envious of your summer fun, waves and all. I have never been to de Island, but it looks gorgeous. I hope your Mom is feeling better.

That's so sweet and Maeve and Makenna are good friends. They look like they were having a lot of fun together. The island looks beautiful, can't wait to come back for a visit.

Looks like you had a great time. Glad to hear it. We are in Victoria for the weekend and having a great time. THe girls had a teaparty with their great great aunts and my grandma. Had a very cute time. Your kids are great. YOu are a great parent. Your hubby too, Love ya Deb

Ooo the sun will do that to ya, Thats how i feel after a day out at the gold coast, The women weren't as good looking though I am pretty sure they were taller, the weather looks great there, Its like only 22 max here lately, I used to think it was funny to see people in ski jackets and parkas walking around, now I am almost one of them,
