Bad news bears

Well kids, looks like there is a limit to how much cute you can be exposed to each month. I tried to load up some uber cute to our flickr account but it seems as though we are all full up for the month. You are all going to have to wait until tuesday! Waaaaaaaa! Ok, just when I thought I had a handle on just HOW adorable she is, she gets more adorable! Today we went to superstore and bought us a shade pool! Its perfect Maeve size! I'm pretty sure that the whole family can fit in that pool but no water! ha ha. Maeve is doing great we are on day 4 with no diaper! Go team Mussellam! Hopefully we wont have to open the box we just bought and we can save it for the new baby! Happy thursday to you all!

Guess we can rule out claustrophobia for Maeve. Michael went to check on her this morning and this is what he found. She woke up just after he took the picture and I can assure you she is alive and well! Yesterday we went swimming with Lisa and Ronan. Lots of splashing! Maeve is on day 3 with no diapers and Mommy and Daddy are thrilled! There have been some accidents but overall she is doing remarkably well! Mommy is getting big and can't quite wait until our fantastic Mexican Riviera vacation in July. Yes yes, I realize it will be quite warm there.... but they have pools and I wont have to cook a thing!

Well, what a big holiday weekend we had! Saturday we got up bright and early and painted our big girl's room! What colour you ask? Pink and Purple of course! Click on the picture of Maeve to see all the pictures from this weekend. Sunday we didn't do too much. Auntie Erin came over to visit Maeve and Michael and I hijacked her and Sara to babysit while we ran out and watched Star Wars III. It was great. We came home and Auntie Sara was in some sort of cake induced coma. Yesterday Michael started to come down with a cold so we didn't do too much in the a.m. We watched the Victoria Day parade and napped a bit. Then around 4ish we went to Douglas Park. This is where we found out that Maeve is part Monkey! I'm very proud that she can use her upper body weight to lift herself because god knows her Mommy and Daddy can't! Have a great Tuesday everyone! Maeve and I are going swimming with Lisa and Ronan. Later this evening we are going for sushi with Auntie Sara and Uncle Brad. How exciting!

Hi there gang. No new pictures today. I'm having another off day. I think Maeve might be breaking in some new choppers. She is currently napping and so too should I be.... but! When the cats away the mouse shall play. Ok, that would be more funny if we didn't have a mouse problem here already! I hope everyone has a fantastic long weekend, yay Victoria day. I'm going to pick Michael up at 4 so hopefully my mood will improve dramatically! The new baby is growing and kicking up a storm. Now I can actually see it when she kicks me. What a restless baby, she had me giggling until about midnight last night! Ahh... being pregnant, there is no better feeling in the world! Ok ok, unless you suffer from morning sickness, sciatic nerve pain, overwhelming fatigue... hahah despite the aforementioned symptoms I'm absolutely loving this pregnancy!

Happy Thursday to everyone!!!!

This morning started out pretty magical. My mom phoned me at the crack of 9am and told me that Michael and I are doing a great job as parents. What a way to wake up! Maeve seems to be extra snuggly after having a full 12 hours of sleep last night! How could my day possibly get any better! Oh ya, its season finale night! CSI here I come!!! This morning Maeve was playing with her magic wand. After almost landing in the toilet she seemed to get the hang of it. Click the pic to see another. Have a grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat day! PS I should have titled this picture "Little boy blue" see, she only wears blue at bedtime! Otherwise its all pink all the time!!

Well, Maeve is definately her Daddy's girl. Yesterday Maeve was drawing on her magnadoodle and this is what she drew. After she made this she yelled, "Nose, nose. Nose Mommy." I looked at this work of art and asked her what the two dots were. She replied, "eyes Mommy." I of course stole the magnadoodle so she didn't erase it and ran for the camera. After damaging Maeve emotionally, I can only hope she will create again. Stay tuned!

Yesterday Auntie Sara came all the way from Conneticut to see Maeve. Boy Does she love Maeve alot! She is all tanned from her trip to Jamaica but it seems like she brought the rain with her on her long drive back to Canada. Ps she drove from Conneticut not Jamaica! Its amazing what 4 weeks will do to a girl! Looks like a sit up or two wouldn't kill one of us! I am a little frightened to admit that I think this girl is going to be a trouble maker just like her Daddy. She is kicking and poking like you wouldn't believe. I think the next 4+ months are going to be the calm before the storm! Fingers crossed for me people!

Has anyone ever documented the worlds cutest starfish? Poor Maeve is growing and her parents don't seem to be buying her any new pjs! Daddy took this photo last night around 11pm. Looks like it was this morning doesn't it? Well, short little blurb today because we are off to go hang out with Emmy and Audrey for the day. Frankly I don't think there is any really good reason that pregnant women should be up before the crack of 9:30! Take care and love love to all!!

Jumping the Blogwagon

Well kids, it looks like the pic of the day is a thing of the past. All the cool kids are Blogging and so too shall we!

Mother's day weekend was a blast. After locking the keys in the house and hauling our behinds to the Tswassen ferry terminal, we were the very last car on the ferry. I'm certain eveyone that lived in Vancouver was on the ferry with us. It was packed!

Once we made it to Victoria we hung out with Uncle Jaycie and Auntie Barbie, then had dinner with our friends Greg and his girlfriend Tania. On this journey we discovered just how much Maeve loves kitty cats. Poor Rascal has never been loved so much in all his short life. Maeve is very gentle, but Rascal has been burned before. Eventually Rascal let Maeve pet, snuggle and even kiss him. What a good boy!

Maeve played with her cousins Makenna and Siobhan. The girls taught Maeve how to talk on the phone while taking a spin in the jeep. Thankfully there was only one minor traffic violation. All in all we all had a very nice Mother's Day BBQ.
