Happy Halloween

We are all well, we are all good. We are all doing what good girls should! ha NOT! Maeve is quite possibly going to be a world leader of some sort at some time. She bosses us ALL around! Madigan is on the cusp of getting a break from the giant gnasher that is a wafer thin mint away from popping through finally. Poor Madigan has had the reddest bottom ever due to the aforementioned teething extravaganza. My mom is bringing me more desitin and boy can we sure use it!
The sleep countdown is on for Mom's visit. Maeve is very excited about showing her around the shops... well, toy stores to be more specific! I wont let my mom go too crazy, but isn't that what Gramma's & Grampas and Nannys and Nonies and Grans and all those old people are good for?
Here I am complaining about ole bossy boots and little miss red bottom and then I look over my shoulder and they are playing together and being sweet and good. If it wasn't for my toothicular injury I'd have to say my life is perfect!

Since this blog refused to update this afternoon, you all get our trick or treat blog on here too! Maeve requested to go out as a ballerina. I tried to fight her saying how cold it is outside and lost miserably. Soo, up to the wardrobe to find suitable ballerina wear. Maeve spotted her christmas dress and wanted to wear that one. After explaining that one is for xmas she spied a set of matching purple tutus.. good lord thanks Mom! So the girls were dressed as twin ballerinas and NOT because I forced them for a change! Seems Maeve must like it when Madigan dresses up like her! We trick or treated at our neighbours and then walked past probably 20 or so houses that are saving money on electric by sitting there in the dark!! We brought the girls to 3 houses and they were over the moon! Then Chris our neighbour sent all her grandkids over to us and Maeve was lets say, very generous, to the trick or treaters! All in all halloween was a nice treat, much more than I expected for jolly ole england since it is relatively new here!

Sunday

Happy Birthday To Anna Reynolds... today she turns... another year older! haha...
Well, this weekend wasn't too exciting. Bit of a letdown really. Maeve was promised a "spooktacular" good time at Regent Court (sort of plaza mall thing) So, off we go to have some halloween fun. NONE to be had.. how rude, all she got to do was a colouring page! Maeve dressed up as a ballerina princess kitty, Madigan was a fairy princess kitty.. they were the ONLY children dressed up!! hahahah what a gyp! I don't have the pics of them dressed up at the moment so I'll leave you with the girls stuck in baby jail! We had a great bimble from leamington to warwick.. Michael, Neil and Fil climbed up a billion stairs to the top of church's bell tower. I had to sit it out with Maeve as no children under 8 were allowed in. Good thing too Michael says it was horrific! Madigan got to go along for the ride because she was securely strapped to Michael's back! We then had dinner and bimbled our way back from warwick to leamington dropping off neil and fil and then another hour walk to our home in sydenham! Both girls are conked out and have been since 7... tonight is going to be a great sleep night.. NOT.. damn daylight savings!

Peace out bitches

Footie Girls

Hallo... so yesterday was GORGEOUS again... this weather throws me for a loop! Not that I am complaining!! One day it is gorgeous, next day poop, next day 2 gorgeousos in a row! It is cold don't get me wrong but crisp and autumy and fantastic! Yesterday I walked the girls into town and we hit the library, the cafe and starbucks. Then we had a spot of footie! Maeve is really good at it! Madigan had alot of fun but refused to share the ball! Some dude on a bench had a heck of a good time watching us 3 girls badly imitate football! Oh well, we had fun and then I walked them home hoping that at least one of them would fall asleep in the stroller. Boo of course, no sleeping... we got home, made some dinner just before Michael came home... Early night for mommy and the girls and Daddy went out and tied on.. at least one.. on!

Hanging around

Here are some totally random girl shots. They are so funny. Maeve with her Princess hat... I said put it on so Daddy can take your picture and she walked over to the lecturn and 'posed'! Michael wanted you all to know that we are members and if you do visit be prepared to see seven million castles. I'm really blessed to have them all of these nutty creatures in my life. The rest of you all I can live without! haha ok, not without... i think I'd go bonkers without most of you! Yesterday was GORGEOUS as you could tell from the sunshining down on baby jason for yesterday's pics. Today is gloomy and rainy. Both girls were up for 7am.. gross.. I know that works for some of you but at this point in my life it totally sucks! I don't have much to complain about I know families who children are up at 5am! Its all about perspective!

Oh and our good buddy "Fil"... well, I think he might be a spy. I think the date that he and Erin went on may have spoiled his and Michael's friendship. Fil killed off Michael very early in their game last night... sour grapes? Or maybe he is now attracted to Michael in a more than friendly kinda way......

hmmmm that enough evil slander for you?

Girls girls girls

So as sad as I am to have Erin leave me I must call her out for the bitch she is. Why this change of heart you ask? Well after *just* touching down in her homeland that little cow went out and bought tickets to see Motley Crue AND Aerosmith. Fair? I think not... they might as well have Def Leppard opening for christmas sakes.. How rude!!!!

We are well.. today I managed to get us out of the house for some fresh air. Madigan is a walking nightmare and Maeve was pretty good. Even though all she does is boss me around! Tit for Tat I suppose I boss her around all day! I wouldn't have it any other way. Madigan's favorite saying now is... :MaaaaaaaaaaaMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY (very high pitched and demanding" Her other favorite word is "bbbbbbbbbbUP" obviously UP but more emphasis on the not so silent B! All things animal remain a staunch favorite with the youngest. Maeve was exactly the same... the cutest thing Madigan does atm is crouch down and rub her fingers together "calling" a kitty and saying pssssss psssss psss.. tres cute! Maeve main love in life is Nemo. I'm not sure why as she fast forwards most of the movie cutting the running time from 1 1/2 hours to like 15 mins! Whatever, she is more computer literate than most people I know! *ha burn*

Love you mucho

Avesbury

So, we wanted to take Erin to StoneHenge.. well, I was ruled out... apparently Avesbury is where it is at! So here we are all crammed into a lovely "people carrier" which is what they cal vans here! Har har.. much fun... some motion sickness (the adults not the children). Avesbury is superior (I'm told) because Stonehenge is roped off and you can't even get very close to it. Here, as you can see you can get really close. Thank me later for not showing you all the sheep poop that is EVERYWHERE because sheep roam freely at this site! I'll keep up little posts with lots of pics so you can see what we did when Auntie was here. Poor Erin, we hardly did anything during the week! I'm usually lucky if I get a shower so I really should have accomplished something with her here helping.. nope.. I mostly just enjoyed my time with another adult!!!!

soooooo sorry again!

My god... I can't believe it has been 2 1/2 weeks already. Boohoo sniffle sniffle we just sent poor Auntie Erin off to the airport. I was crying, so was she... waaaaah I want my Erin back! Erins visit was fantastic. She unlike most fish and family did not start to smell bad after three days! Ok ok, so her feet smelled a bit as soon as she got here but we love her anyway! Maeve was a champ, dropped Auntie Erin off at Paddington Station big kisses and smooches and then as we drove away asked when Gramma Luvvy was coming! What a girl! Madigan got lots of squishes and kisses too! We are going to miss her ALOT! So.. I promised updated pics but you'll have to suffer through with what you get! Danica... I'll try to update more frequently seeing as you are sooo bored at work! I love you all and thanks for the 'polite' hints to update!

Ok so here are my daughters. I finally got the pics uploaded from my phone. Sorry if the pics are crappy and/or small!

Enough about us... Brodie and Lindsay are having their baby tomorrow! Linds is scheduled to deliver via c-section at 8:30. I would give my right arm.. well.. my entire ass to be there for baby Saige's birthday but I can't. I can only hope that Mom and Danica have the tear department covered for me. I'll be thinking of you and I can't wait to see pics. I love you Bro, Linds, Makadoodlenut and baby Saige!

Back atchya!

Hello Everyone!!

Yes we are alive!!

Yes we are kicking!! and Yes we are thrilled to hear that the Doucette Fam finally made it to NZ! I'm sure Anna will be taking care of them as I write this! Sooo... we went to Hatton Country World... much fun and hilariousity! Farm animals... petting zoo where the only petter was Auntie Erin as my children refused to touch anything that bleated, oinked or clucked (they get that from their Mommy!) Bouncy castle bouncing was the top of our awesome list... poor castle had me, erin and the girls bouncing around in there for ages. NO camera so no photographic evidence of the fun we had! Thank goodness to because no one wants to see all this jiggling around in a children's bouncey castle!!! Yesterday we wandered around Royal Leamington Spa.. nothing too exciting... we get started pretty late around here and the weather has been pretty crummy. Yesterday Auntie bought the "twins" a set of twins! Blue for Madigan and Pink for Maeve. I spent about 20 mins crying because Madigan held, rocked, fed and cuddled her baby. It was really sweet... nice of Auntie to buy the girls a gift on top of the gift of her being here! We are having lots of fun.. you'll have to wait for Michael to get home to see the pics. All I had with me was my camera phone and the pics are small. I can't upload them for the life of me so I'll have to wait for him! Love to you all and we are all doing well LOVING having Auntie with us! Can't WAIT for Gramma Luvvy's visit!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello! Sorry for the missing blogs. Erin made it to jolly ole on thursday and we have been busy little bees ever since. The pic above is of Erin basically emptying her luggage of GIFTS for the girls... Maeve got this great ukelele.. Madigan got a drum.. clothes aplenty, Dora movies... poor Erin has nothing to wear, all luggage space was dedicated to bringing gifts to england! We'll ahve to help her fill it back up with ridiculous shoes!
Friday we wandered around royal leamington spa. Saturday we went on a 10 mile bimble with our fearless leader Fil (Phil) and our travelling companion Mr Neil Bruder. Fun was had...a gorgeous church was spotted. We walked all along the canal by our house.. walked along the oldest straightest roman road in England and stopped off so the girls could play in the park!
Today we headed into town to celebrate thanksgiving with all the Canadians from Codemasters. It was great.. we were in a room full of people and *we* didn't have accents! There was a couple from Colorado, a couple from California a couple from Scotland but the rest of the huge band of merry drunkards were canadian! Turkey, potatoes, cheese, beer and all the trimmings! Maeve made a new friend named Brandon or "lord vader" as I call him. It was his 4th birthday and he had a light sabre. Very cool, Maeve informed us that she wanted a pink one with Dora on it! She is certainly an origional that girl! I told her the second I see one I will buy it for her! Every one loved the girls and wanted to hold or play with them. The festivities were at codemaster's lodge which is this huge mansion...gorgeous but poorly renovated! fireplaces in EVERy room even the bathroom! it was great... really fun time.. we came home put the sleeping girls to bed and we are all off to bed too..

Happy thanks giving to my family who are all celebrating together at my mom's house. I miss you all so very much and I really wish I was there with you. I hope you try to get together like that once a month and I'll phone wherever the gathering is and get a chance to talk to all of you. I love you all very much!

Lindsay

Hallo Honey, how are you? Were you channeling me last night to tell me that Saige has come? I dreamt that you phoned me to tell me she was here and to send Mom to the hospital in her jim jams... You wanted to surprise her that our Gorgeous Saige had already made her debut. Mom of course was in full dress and makeup within seconds! I tried to convince her to put a robe on for you!!! Hopefully my dream is prophetic and we get to meet baby Saige soon......wishing you safe early delivery vibes linds! Before we know it I'll be cursing you because you'll look like this again and be so damned skinny and gorgeouso!!! Toot toot!

Wednesday

So we are all a quiver with excitement! Only ONE more sleep until our beloved Auntie Erin makes it... Erin is going to be here from Oct 5 - 22. We will have a week and a bit to recover then Gramma Luvie is going to be here from Nov 5 - 19. Contain your excitement because hopefully Auntie Sara and baby jakers are going to attempt an overlapping visit and be here for Nov 15! I am so excited to have house guests.. I'm sure they will drive me crazy and vice versa but it will be worth it! Now, we only believe that Auntie Erin and Gramma Luvie are coming for sure because they already have their tickets. Michael and I have been promised many more houseguests but we aren't going to blow up that ole airmattress until we see purchased airline tickets!

Sadly there isn't anything new and exciting going on around here. Madigan seems to be doing a little bit better. Looks like at least one of those big molars has broken through. Maeve was up last night with what we think were growing pains.. thank god!! I hope and pray that she grows big and tall like daddy and not short and stumpy like me!

the pic is of Madigan at the Saxon Mill. the mill has been up and running for over one thousand years!!!!! It was really neat. It is a restaurant/pub now and is really nice with great pizza. Obviously it wasn't a restaurant since the beginning of times... it has been refurbished lots of times. The mill is in great working condition but the ceilings are super low!

Teeth

Some more bimbling... You know its going to be a good bimble when, a) michael runs on ahead b) 2 out of three people are facing one way and the other is going the complete opposite direction!

an adorable pumpkin head Madigan having pizza lunch with Maeve Thats as much pic descrip you are getting bitches!

Oh how loudly I am grumbling these days. Seems our littlest goober is riddled with pain. On the average day we are up to our necks in drool and my shirt is a collage of snot. Oh the joy!! I guess I could complain about the lack of sleep, or how grumpy I am or have frustrating it is dealing with her majesty but I've had a revelation of sorts... I basically wondered, if it is this bad for me.. how bad is it for her? I then stuck my finger in her mouth to suss it out a bit. My god, the poor child's gums are swollen into 4 huge knots. No wonder she is up all night crying, it bloody well hurts! My poor honey and there isn't really much I can do except get up with her and try to keep my grumbles to a minimum! Fortunately it isn't all doom and gloom. Madigan is a great baby..Maeve is a great big sister and really, the joy far outweighs the crankier times! I guess like Brodie, I'd give up sleep for Madigan... well except he said He'd give up eating for Lindsay... ahhh love!
