Woot Woot we are almost finished with this week! I didnt' get half the stuff I should have done yesterday.. boo.. Oh well.. I did manage to fold and put away about 3 weeks worth of backlogged laundry!! While I'm getting ready this is what the girls are doing;
Maeve is always such a little Mommy. She seems to love pretending that Madigan is her baby. I think she takes really good care of her "little" bundle! God I love my girls!
Today we are going on a picnic with the Doucette family. We are going to Trout Lake! The weather is a little overcast but I'm not going to forget the sunscreen!
Here is what Kenny and Michael did... naughty naughty! Nothing like a little home reno! I'm happy to report that Kenny and Michael did a GREAT job and the new opened up kitchen is FABULOUS! Lots more light from the kitchen skylights! Not to mention being able to see more than a half a foot through the kitchen pass thru!

crap now I'll be turning off lightswitches forever with all the light your house will have now.
Dooped by the sun CONSTANTLY that week that I was at your house and never even got a single blog mention.
how rude.
What a gorgeous newborn Maeve! Such amazing communication skill for an infant
Michael has that "I just stuck up and scared you look". Sometimes there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything we want to get done. But, those moments when our kids do something that make us melt, who cares about the rest of the stuff. Take care,
Deb
Ah, the joys of home ownership (and destruction too!!!). Looks like fun, I hope I can come see the results (wink-wink).

Michael the mad!
aww such a nice newborn you have maeve and so tiny too. You are such a pretty young mother.
I can't wait to see the new open area when I come over to do my grandma duties and then spend the day on the lower east side just to stay out of your way!! Is there a shopping cart I could borrow (just for the day) Thanks I am grateful.
Your loving, giving &(underappreciated)
mama
Yes, Ken and I were a little surprised to find that giant slab of wood. Well, I was. Ken has a carpentry background, so he was only slightly ruffled and mentioned that this part of the wall was a little overbuilt for what it had to do. Shrug, it's gone now and now Vashti can see me cleaning the kitchen as she watches TV... Love :P
wow - home renos - brings back night mares. way to bust through a wall. It sure is satisfying isn't it?
