Happy Birthday Mom, I hope your day was the best. I hope your dinner out was fantastic. I hope you managed to not dance on the table after having a max of 2 drinks. I hope that if you did get up and dance after those 2 drinks that you got to smash some plates greek style!

And what an occasion, Mommy's b-day, and yes all of my friends want to meet the legend as she is the star/protaganist in most of my childhood stories, the woman whos quick wit and threats of almost romantically explict acts of violence is only bested by her handspeed (most of the time you have already been slapped before you have even thought of doing something wrong), and judgement rivals solomon in its brutal fairness however mixed in with bitter irony, She is an amazing woman and I wish her a happy birthday and wish her to know I love her and miss her terribly.

Happy Birthday to Grandma, Whom I have never met but sounds as lovely and about as nutty as my own mom and her sisters. What a beautiful tribute to the best mom I know! You have been my inspiration Ev! I so value all of the words of wisdom you have shared with me over the past..gulp..24.5 years! You are the best 'other mother' to my/our kids and grandbabies ever!! I hope you had a great day, I love you lots!!! (I am so grateful that you stopped with the Xmas baking in the tampax box on the bus tho)
