I was a little worried that Maeve might not want to go to school today but guess what, game on! She did great! No worries or hesitations just jumped right in! Thats my girl!! Madigan and I went to playschool today and we had a blast! Poor Madigan got rocked acouple of times by the big meany boys. Oh well, she seems to be doing ok. They rock her, take something and she stands there a bit in shock.. how rude someone taking something from her! Today I'm up for awesome Mommy of the year award. After getting Madigan down for her stroller nap around 10:30 and walking to wetherspoons for my cheapo cappucino, I look at my watch and yelp out a holy (insert not so nice word here)! Its 11:45!!! I'm late to pick up my first born!!!! I had to run 15 blocks to go pick her up!! What a walk of shame I had! Poor Maeve was the last one to leave.. she was perfectly happy and not worried one bit but boy did I feel like a giant chunk of poop! hahah look what a little independence gets me!!! hahah I"ll insert pics later! ta
Ok so its later. I went up to asda to get some groceries and came across these beauties. Now say it with me in your best Monty Python voice... I'll have the spam spam spam spam with a side of spam please... gotta love the UK

I do believe that is complete negligence, and that as a result, Maeve should come live with us.

oh, i am so happy that maeve still loves preschool! it gets better and better. madigan is tough, she will soon battle those boy- bullies with ninja-psychological warfare. isn't it so great to have these little dates alone with madigan? it has been so rewarding for me and liam while ronan is now telling me "mommy, i want you to leave now" when i linger at the preschool drop-off. our little ones sure are growing up quickly.
Yes vashti, Maeve will not be scarred for life. Only you. I know the feeling. It is all good. Yes, Emma is a drama queen and I would like to kill her at times. I really would like to have the girl in an acting class. I think she is a bit young yet, but, my god she cracks me up. Have a good one Deb
Oh what a horrible feeling that must have been forgetting Maeve at pre-school! Well at least she didn't seem too upset about it.
Eww spam is just wrong in so many ways. My ex-boyfriend's favorite camping food was spam sandwhiches, he couldn't go camping without his can of spam. So I guess it's deep fried spam would be appealing to some people??

You are definatly up for Mommy of the year regardless if you were having a jolli-ol time with little Madigan and forgot about your first born....you still kick a-ass as a Mom. I'm totally sure she was havin' a ball at preschool.

Hello Hello!! did you miss me?? I am so excited (and a bit jealous =) that maeve it loving school!!! that is such a wonderful thing!! it is only because she loves it so that you were able to be late... if she hated it you would be hanging outside waiting for her to be happy and feeling super dooper terrible..
oh and just a bit a trivia.. spam comes from my home state of Minnesota.. and the crazy thing is.. you can even visit the spam museum in Austin MN..
