Well, tomorrow is Maeve's big day! First day of school. Ok ok, so its not kindergarten but what a HUGE step for Maeve! We've talked about lots of school related things. For example, what to do if someone is naught to you. Maeve's answer? "run". Okayyyy not what Mommy would do but I'm sure she'll figure things out quickly. I'm not totally sure how things are going to pan out, it could go either way. Today Maeve asked me if I remembered ballet in Canada. I did of couse, she said maybe I could stay and watch her at preschool like I did for ballet! haha smart cookie! I think she'll be just fine. I am prepared for tears, but hoping we don't get any! Holy crap - is that Madigan? wow.. she's looking so toddler-ish! Tell Maeve that Milo wishes her a great first day at school. Believe it or not - he loves it now. Only took 4 months.. hopefully Maeve will be keen a little quicker than he was!

I know Maeve will be fine at school. You may have to be the Norma Rae of Leamington Spa and pioneer the (forced)gradual entry tenchnique with her school. Or you can casually loiter on the other side of the fence during recess....either way, Maeve will eventually rule the school, just like Mama did.
Goober looks so growed up!! Maeve IS so growed up!! I hope to see some sort of video of her going into her first day, and well, your guys's reaction too!!

Maeve I like your pacifists way of dealing with conflict....so like your daddy! He was not however able to run away from the fair Vashti, a fact that I remain forever grateful for!!

Happy Happy first day of school Eve Maeve !!! I know you will have lots and lots of FUN !! You are such a brave, strong, intelligent BIG GIRL. And remember that Auntie Erin will always have you back too. You just tell me the word and I'd be on the next plane over and we can RUN together !!
Madigan is looking ever so beautiful as usual. They are both growing up SO fast....before you know it Madigan will be tagging along to school as well.

Wow, The more maddigan grows the more she looks exactly like jason, Its creepy, Jason shoulda been a girl, I mean he is kinda bitchy at times but normally only when he has cramps. I remember the stool prison game, The bar stools from the old trailer, The brown and black ones, ahhh I fondly remember them, The precious and rare solitude, the bread and water, the savage ass attacks. Memories....

And out of the mouth of babes while talking to Anna, Haidyn got on line and told us that she went to school with Athea today and she said "I like Ahtea's school better because it has toys to play with"
