Young love

Lovers, in a dangerous time.....

Again I quote '80s songs for you all! Yesterday we went to science world. We met up with Angela, Milo, Theo, Hilary and Roan! It was a grand ole time! We also ran into another veteran mainframer wife Jen! She was there with her daughter Ava. Jen is due in 2 weeks and looks fanfrickingtastic! The bitch! I bet you are all guessing who Maeve is holding hands with. Is it Milo? Is it Roan? Nope, you are wrong. It is random cute kid at science world! Maeve befriended him and he seemed to love her instantly! It was really cute. Later his Mom came and told me that he kept saying, "pretty, pretty" to Maeve in Korean. If she is this sought after now Michael and I are going to have a hell of a time in the teen years! So, Michael went to work today and my day went straight down the toilet. Every time I got Madigan to sleep Maeve "loved" her awake. Kisses, hugs but mostly squishes tend to wake up newborns! Today Maeve and I are having a rather difficult time. I realize that there will be boundary testing and limit testing but with a lack of sleep I have to admit to having a short fuse and lack of patience. So after a tearful call to Michael and a few frustrating hours later I finally got both girls to sleep. I think part of the problem is I don't want to plop Maeve down infront of the TV to keep her occupied while I get stuff around here done. I try to reserve TV time for when i really need it. Like, for instance the shower that I never got today! Oh boo hoo, I'm sure comparitively speaking I don't have much to complain about.. but I did get a wonderful treat. Michael came home to my rescue an hour early AND took care of the dinner dishes. As shitty as today was I think Michael and I can manage it together but not on our own! That is why I will try very hard to never have 3! Right now we are even steven! 2 vs 2. Throw another one in the mix and I'll drown!
